Afterhours Hosting Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Afterhours Hosting and Afterhours Clips collect, use, and protect information when you use our hosting portal, support systems, Discord/AI workflows, and YouTube upload tooling.
Information we collect
- Account details such as name, email address, password hash, and login/session data.
- Hosting data such as server names, plan selections, region, provisioning status, Panel user/server IDs, and support ticket content.
- Operational logs needed for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and service reliability.
- When you connect Google/YouTube, OAuth tokens necessary to upload approved clips to the connected YouTube account. We do not collect or store your Google password.
How we use information
- To create and manage Minecraft hosting accounts, servers, and Pterodactyl Panel access.
- To provide customer support, AI triage, staff replies, and live ticket updates.
- To process approved Afterhours clip uploads through official platform APIs.
- To secure the platform, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and maintain service quality.
Google and YouTube data
If you authorize Afterhours Clips with Google OAuth, the app requests YouTube upload permission only. The app uses this access to upload video clips that you approve or intentionally submit for upload. OAuth tokens are stored server-side with restricted file permissions and can be revoked by you at any time in your Google Account permissions.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with infrastructure providers, email providers, Discord/automation tools, Google/YouTube APIs, and Pterodactyl-related services only as needed to operate the service.
Retention
We keep account, hosting, ticket, and operational data while your account is active or as needed for security, legal, billing, and service continuity reasons. You may request deletion where applicable.
Your choices
- You can ask us to update or delete account information where legally and operationally possible.
- You can revoke Google/YouTube OAuth access from your Google Account settings.
- You can stop using the service at any time.
Security
We use password hashing, access controls, server-side secret storage, and operational safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, so please use strong passwords and do not share credentials in chat.
